Charities worse off since end of EU funding

Three quarters of employment services charities claim that they have received less funding since the European Social Fund was phased out and replaced with the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). Charities have also expressed concerns around the availability of UKSPF after March 2025 and about cash-strapped local authorities using funding to support their own employment support services.
