Growing risk of cyberattacks

Businesses and charities are being urged to strengthen their cybersecurity practices as the frequency of cyberattacks is increasing. Almost a third of charities and two in five businesses reported cybersecurity breaches or attacks in the last 12 months. One in three businesses and a quarter of charities that had been victims of an attack said they now experience breaches or attacks at least once a week. The National Cyber Security Centre is encouraging organisations to follow its guidance to reduce the risk of an attack.
