Self-employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) Fraud Prevention

To help prevent the SEISS from fraud, some taxpayers who became self-employed from 6 April 2019 may receive a letter from HMRC, followed by a phone call asking them to complete checks to confirm their identity if they wish to claim the fourth or fifth SEISS grants.
