Small business owners remain confused about GDPR

Small business owners admit they are still unaware of their responsibilities under the GDPR, according to a survey carried out by Aon. The survey of small business owners revealed that 50% of respondents are confused by the requirements of data protection and privacy regulations and over half fail to dispose of customer records securely. The survey also found that a quarter of respondents allow staff to use their personal devices for work purposes and 25% use training materials that feature real-life case studies, which could result in data breaches.
