Funded Support

Support package for charities announced

The Chancellor has announced a £750 million package of support for frontline charities to ensure they can continue to operate during the coronavirus outbreak. The support includes a £370 million grant scheme for small and medium-sized charities to enable them to meet the increased demand for their services as a result of coronavirus as well as continuing to carry out their day-to-day activities. The grants will be made available via the National Lottery Community Fund. An additional £360 million will also be provided to UK charities providing key services and supporting vulnerable people during the crisis.
